The project created for the agritourism restaurant “Il Pelo nell’Ovo” in Montalcino involves the construction of a conservatory next to the restaurant to be used as a relaxation area
The structure is designed to meet two basic needs for the customer: that of a space to welcome guests and that of increasing the thermal insulation inside the restaurant to improve the energy performance of the building thanks to energy saving.
In practice, this is a custom built galvanized iron pergola with a pitched roof and a 10 square meter polycarbonate roof. The structure includes a side swing door and a double central door. Designed and studied for its unmistakable aesthetic value but above all for its versatility, it is able to ensure visibility and transparency with the outside. The customer can therefore enjoy the warmth of the winter sun immersed in a spectacular panorama between the Tuscan hills of the Val d’Orcia on one side and the Crete Senesi on the other.
