The intervention commissioned by Dimora Santa Margherita involves the construction of a shading pergola and all the outdoor furniture. The location is a Hotel de Charme in Castiglioncello Bandini nestled in the uncontaminated heart of the Maremma. In the magnificent 17th century farmhouse, you can breathe a vintage-chic atmosphere that is refined and simple at the same time. The refinement of the original materials wisely enhanced, the spectacular saltwater infinity pool surrounded by a timeless landscape reminiscent of Renaissance Tuscany and a thousand other details required a particularly careful design phase.
The whole project focus around the shading pergola with a central opening inspired by the ancient protection structures of the Mediterranean area that manages to interact with the outdoor spaces in a unique and unrepeatable combination. The feeling of balance and harmony is emphasized by the choice of the flat roof covering material, a mat of vegetable fiber. The supporting columns with a circular section are embellished with a central ornamental junction node, a final capital and volutes on each corner. Provision has also been made for shading side curtains with final decoration curl.
The furnishings include Baldovino tables with Violetta armchairs and Giulietta armchairs with Irish coffee tables. Each element has been carefully designed to integrate with the stone tones of the structure and flooring. Particular attention has been paid to the finishing of the iron parts by choosing an elegant ivory color with gold-colored handcrafted aging. Finally, the cushions have been handmade in a refined sand striped acrylic fabric.
