The intervention commissioned by Hotel Palazzuolo provides for the outdoor furniture of the large terrace overlooking on the swimming pool and on the unique panorama of the hills of the Val d’Orcia. The location is a Hotel that was born from the renovation of a nineteenth-century farm surrounded by eleven hectares of park . The location is near the medieval walls of San Quirico d’Orcia , a village declared by UNESCO in 2004 as a World Heritage Site.
After a careful evaluation phase of the structure and the surrounding environment, side by side with the client, we opted for a choice that goes beyond the classic Gaia canons for this type of situation, while maintaining purity of form and elegance.
The tables , measuring 80×80 cm, are taken from the Impero collection , solid and visually important , and are made of square section tubular with galvanized steel top. The chairs are chosen instead from the Loto collection whose elements are instead made of thin diameter rod, and characterized by delicate and romantic shapes. The whole is painted with Corten effect which with its warm and material tones integrates perfectly with the territory and the context rich in history . The resulting combination is a unique and dynamic harmony of strength and lightness.
