Every outdoor space can be said to be truly complete when all the furnishing textiles are well coordinated with furniture and structures for this reason all the works created in the workshop are completed with soft cushions that give warmth and color, with covers and tarpaulins made entirely on measure.
The procedure is carried out with painstaking care: once the material has been chosen, the fabric is shaped, cut, assembled and sewn. The last step in the cushions, essential for comfort, is the padding. We use high quality foam rubbers, in various densities and coatings for every type of use to offer an enjoyable and customized product to the customer’s tastes.
The selection of Gaia fabrics, all removable, for the cushions includes:
- Dyed acrylic fabric
The mass dyeing guarantees a high resistance to the sun and UV rays. In fact, during exposure to the sun, ultraviolet rays tend to fade the most intense shades and make the light shades of the fabrics yellow. Gaia acrylic fabrics are also breathable, water-repellent and oil-repellent therefore practically immune to the formation of mold and stains. Definitely the most suitable solution for outdoor furniture.
Maintenance : hand wash (preferably) and in the washing machine at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees with detergents suitable for light or dark colors. Stain-resistant fabrics do not normally need to be ironed, occasionally you can iron them inside out. - Linen and Cotton
Used mainly in interior design, it is a soft and precious fabric.
Maintenance : hand or machine wash at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees with mild detergents without bleaching agents. Iron at medium-low temperature.
As regards gazebos and structures in general, the materials used are:
- PVC (Polyvinyl chloride)
Important characteristics to consider are the coating and weight, in practice the thickness of the coating in g / m2. The greater the value, the greater the thickness and heaviness of the sheet, factors that affect in a proportional way to the duration over time. For the production of gazebos and pergolas Gaia uses a maximum of 850g / m2 for the blackout fabric. Therefore an extremely resistant material to breakage and high temperatures.
Maintenance : washing with specific products available in any hobby or hardware store, or with common dish soap. Do not use aggressive detergents or ammonia, to avoid damaging the upper layers of the coating. - Solution-dyed acrylic fabric
Same characteristics as the fabric used for the cushions (repulsion to the normal dirt, water repellency, high protection from heat and UV rays) but used with a higher weight (300 g / m2 in the specific case).
Maintenance : clean the fabric regularly by brushing with water at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees and neutral soap. For stubborn stains or mold, use a solution of bleach (240 ml) in 4 liters of water. Rinse thoroughly and let the fabric dry before rewinding it.
