Impero Range

The Impero Range offers a really complete choice of furniture. All products of this Range are manufactured by using square tubing in order to obtain both sturdiness and lightness. We manufacture three different models of chairs and a settee. The armchair Impero and the chair Impero are quite stately but well-proportioned, the two models together couple perfectly at the same table. Owing to aesthetic reasons the cushion of the armchair is thicker (8 cm) than that one of the chair (4 cm), but they are equally comfortable. The settee Impero follows the same proportions of the armchair. The chair Giuditta is smaller, lighter and of simplified design. The cushions are with removable cover (acrylic or linen/cotton fabrics) and accurately manufactured in our own factory. The table-bases are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes, but we can manufacture some models even in customised sizes. Disassemblable versions of almost all models are available. The biggest sizes of the not disassemblable tables have legs duly reinforced by scrollworks, but, upon request, we can replace the standard scrollworks with plain small arches. The small models of table can be manufactured either with scrollworks or with arches. The disassemblable models are manufactured only with arches. All our standard table-bases are designed even for very heavy stone tops, therefore they are duly strengthened by reinforcing works and bars, but in case of bases intended for light tops (a glass top, for example) each design is duly suited. Sirio Range

Like the Impero Range, also the Sirio Range offers a wide choice of furniture and various complementary items: chairs, armchairs, tables, one barbecue, one trolley, and even a tester bed. On this Range no customised item is provided, very special instances excepted. For the Sirio Range we don't use any square tubing, but solid round bars, so we get furniture of aesthetical lightness, without reducing the solidity. The models appear always smart but without any pushiness, with a design homely but also polished at the same time. The cushions are of high quality, finely shaped and with trimming and stitching. This Range is suitable for indoors too, particularly with some special finishing (for example the "spring" finishing, or the "rust antique"), and as a general rule all its tables with glass top. The Sirio Range models can well combine with the Baldovino Range ones. Baldovino Range

This is the classic range of garden furniture in Liberty style, with floral motifs, manufactured by using solid round bars. This furniture is suitable for a very elegant and exclusive setting. The legs of all Baldovino tables have the classical curl shape, and the biggest tables are equipped with adjustable feet. All table-bases are suitable for enamelled stone tops or Travertine marble tops, but also for glass tops. The Baldovino tables are not feasible in customised sizes, except a few models. The models of this range can well combine with the Sirio Range ones, in fact the "Camilla" chair is perfectly suitable for all Sirio tables. Both chair and armchair are stacking up to 4 pcs., and available in some variants concerning the seat, that can be in sheet iron, ash wood, or upholstered . The sheet iron seats and the seats upholstered with synthetic cover are suitable for outdoor use. Only the ash seats in order to get a long life need, of course, a sheltered location. Contract Range

On this range you can find several items of different styles, but they have some important common peculiarities: lightness, handiness and low price. These articles are particularly suitable for bars, bistrot, terrace hospitalities, but even for big hospitalities and catering use, where chairs small and handy are required. Of course, for said uses an important role is played by the tables, and we offer suitable rectangular and round tables. A sample: "Round Base Irlanda Contract", for round tops up to 100 cm diameter. The chairs are: the "Camilla" and the "Camilletta" that are stacking up to 4 pcs., and the "Carlotta", folding, with seat and back of iron or ash. We can produce the "Camilletta" chair also with seat of polycarbonate, to grant a considerable lightness. The table-bases are suitable for tops of stone, glass, steel, Verzalit. Contemporary Range

This range of furniture is characterised by squared and minimalist shapes, by up-to-date materials as Polycarbonate and Textilene for the seats, and by glass tops to show the light geometry of the structures. Furniture that have the purpose to avoid drawing on itself more attention than on the environment. In other words: a fairly and discreet presence of shapes. Table-Tops

Our table-bases are suitable for tops of different forms and materials, even of large sizes and considerable weights, sometimes the largest and heaviest tops are subdivided in sections. Gaia offers a range of four different types of table-tops, in order to satisfy all aesthetical and functionality requirements.

Tops of white Travertine marble

The cutting of this valuable marble is made along its natural layers, this procedure ensures high impact resistance of the table-tops. The white Travertine tops are elegant and classical items and go very well together with the iron table structures. The thickness is 3 cm, with rounded borders ("torus" borders), the surfaces are brushed, and this treatment gives the tops an antique look that blends in nicely with the incomparable flavour of the forged iron. After the brushing procedure we make on the surfaces a repellence treatment against rain and dirt. Anyway we advise our customers to repeat a similar treatment, minimum once a year, by any specific wax base product. In case of outdoor use in winter, when the temperature is below zero, we also advise to shelter the Travertine tops with waterproof covers to be placed on their quite dry surfaces.

Steel table-tops

Steel tops are extremely practical and light, suitable for little and middle-sized tables. The steel tops for the Bistrot range are perforated. All steel tops are electro-galvanized to give a good resistance against oxidization.

Glass table-tops

The glass tops offered by Gaia are of considerable thickness (15 – 20 mm), with polished edges and rounded corners. They are recommended for indoors or sheltered settings. The glass tops, owing to the particular lightness and elegance, always give a special charm to the furniture.

Gaia's Enamel table-tops

These Gaia's tops are realized by the enamelling of a particular stone, named “Peperino”, of volcanic origin. The enamelled Peperino tops are practically weatherproof, dirt-repellent, highly hardwearing and maintenancefree. They are even frost-resistant, therefore they can stay outdoor all year round. The elegance and the matching colours go perfectly together with the metal structures of our tables. The standard colours of the tops are blue, orange, ochreyellow, sponge-down painted.The borders are English-green, with black ribbons. This chromatism has been chosen to blend harmoniously with the various colours of our upholsteries and cushions.

Cooking Outside

Gaia offers two different barbecue-cooking ways. The classic one: by a charcoal grill, whole of cast iron, for persons who are keen on traditional cooking: this way can give excellent results but needs a considerable engagement and a certain plenty of time. The most innovative one: cooking by the “Plancha”, which is a device manufactured by the Co. ENO and consists of a double coating enamelled cast iron plate, heated by LPG-burners (Liquid Propane Gas).The advantages of this method are really considerable: it is a device exceptionally easy to use and to maintain and, most of all, ready to cooking in a few minutes with homogeneous heat on the whole surface of the plate. Other important advantages of the "Plancha"-cooking are: not only meat and fish, but also all kinds of food products can be cooked by it (vegetables and fruits too), no fat material is needed and it means a healthy way of cooking, Technical characteristics of the device: plate-enamelling antiadherence and certified for food products, gas security by thermocouple, warranty 10 years of the plate. We produce for the "Plancha" some appropriate trolleys and supports which follow the well-known Gaia's style.
